Saying goodbye to my chair…
“In 2013, I made the decision not to sit on a chair for a whole year…It lead to a massive change in my life, in my health, allowing more movement to take place on a daily basis”.

My career has spanned over 30 years. I traveled to many countries learning different disciplines. The whole time I was looking for ways to bring balance back to the body and mind.

I trained primarily as a Kinesiologist. I also qualified as a Craniosacral therapist, Acupuncturist, “Yoga tune up ball” trainer and a Movement facilitator. My experience in helping people has also extended to working with babies, children with dyslexia and other learning difficulties including gross motor issues and intellectual disabilities.

During my career I created two methodologies: “Brain Body Integration” and ´Natural Steps´. BBI is a set of exercises and activities to help stimulate Right and Left sides of the brain in a coordinated way with opposite limbs, it also accelerates learning and improves memory. Natural Steps is a natural form of moving with no music and getting in touch with our innate movement.

Over the years my knowledge has grown and my continued interest in resolving health issues led me to train with Katy Bowman comprehending the principles of the biomechanics of the body and its application in our lives. I went to her training center “Nutritious Movement” in the USA and qualified as a Restorative Exercise Specialist working on alignment, posture, restorative exercises and movement.

This training made me see things differently and led me to investigate the detrimental effects of sedentary lifestyle and the impact it has on our health. Not enough basic movement is implicated in all serious metabolic disease of today.

Bottom line, we are all sitting too much….
I have brought together all my various training to create a unified approach. My knowledge of movement associated with good mechanical posture can be applied into the workplace and at home to help counteract the problem of sitting too much and moving too little.
If you are serious about helping your health start by getting off the couch. If you need to sit, try the floor for a healthier you.
With your health at heart. I hope to meet you and support your journey back to a healthier you.

Kindly yours
